Time Entries Export
The Time Entries Export makes it possible to export employee working time entries in different formats and for different purposes. This guide will help you understand and make the most of the export options.
Settings
- Set time period: Define the period for which Time Entries should be exported (from/to).
- Filter employee scope:
- All: Includes all employees.
- Departures and transfers: Includes only employees who have left or switched teams.
- Departures only: Includes only employees who have left.
- No departures: Includes only employees who have not left.
- Transfers only: Includes only employees who have switched teams.
- Employee scope from/to: Set the date range for employee scope (from/to).
- Select time zone: Set the correct time zone for accurate export data. Default is
Europe/Zurich. - Select only employees from teams:
- Active: Only team-level memberships are considered. Group-level memberships are ignored.
- Inactive: Group-level memberships are also considered.
- Select file format: Choose the desired format for export (
Excel .xlsxorCSV .csv).
Columns

- Selection of columns: Select specific fields that should appear as columns in the export. All fields can be selected. Unneeded columns can later be hidden or deleted in the Excel or CSV file.
Audience

- Group, team, or employees: Select specific groups, teams, or individual employees.
- Cost centers: Select work data based on cost centers.
- Contracts: Select employees based on assigned contracts.
Select Time Entry Types

- Selection of time entry types: Select the desired time entry types from the list and add them to the export.
- Search time entry types: If a specific time entry type is not listed, you can search for and add it manually.
Time Entry Types Export Settings

- Export ID per time entry type: Set an ID for each time entry type in the export. The same ID can be used if needed.
- Desired unit: Days affected, count, days, hours, working days.
- Rounding: 2 decimal places or round to 0.5.
- Define formula (active):
- Example: Calculate time entry types with a specific factor.
- Value of time entry type:

* 1.25 - Formula:
{{value}} * 1.25

Notes:
An ID must be entered for each time entry type, otherwise the export cannot be generated. The generate button will be grayed out.
