Absence Prioritization
The prioritization of absence and event types serves to avoid conflicts between different absences and events. For example, a vacation day can be automatically overridden if a higher-priority event such as a public holiday falls on the same day. Absences or event types without a defined priority are always calculated regardless of other absences or events. This prioritization allows multiple absences and event types to be scheduled without incorrectly causing double calculations — only the highest-priority absence is applied.

Example
If both a rest day (No. 13) and a sick day (No. 3) are entered on the same day, the one with the higher number takes priority — so the Sick absence is applied.
