Dear JobDone users

We are happy to announce several new features and improvements in JobDone. This update focuses on organization management, scheduling, absences, time tracking, reports, communication, and auditability.

Schedule

1. Improved monthly export: The monthly schedule export has been extended and optimized, making exports clearer and more reliable.

2. Improved resource view: The resource view has been updated to make the table more powerful, consistent, and easier to use.

3. Redesigned Shift Pool / Assistant page: The Shift Pool / Assistant page has been redesigned to make open shifts and assignments easier to manage.

   

Organization

1. Global Accounting Admin: A new admin role is now available for global accounting responsibilities. This helps larger organizations manage permissions more precisely.
2. New setting for absence calculations: Organizations can now define whether work duration should be considered or deducted when calculating absences.
3. Time balance shown in contracts: The contracts overview now shows which time balance is linked to each contract.

Absences

1. Created by / created at details: Absences now show when they were created and by whom, improving transparency and traceability.

   

2. New duration calculation for all-day absences: Absence types now support a new option based on average daily working time in x amount of past calendar weeks.

Time Tracking

1. Bulk delete for time entries: Multiple time entries can now be deleted at once, saving time when correcting or cleaning up entries.

   

Audit

1. History for shifts, work entries, and absences: Changes to shifts, work entries, and absences are now easier to review and trace (Available with JobDone Ultra, activation upon request).

   

Reports and Exports

1. Downloads with filters: The downloads overview now includes improved filtering, making exported files easier to find.

Communication and Circles

1. Add new members to circles: Members can now be added to existing circles directly in the circles page.
2. Circle by skills: Possibility to select Circles audience by Skill.
3. Unread indicator in the dashboard: The dashboard now shows an indicator when there is unread content.
